The MG-RAST servers require a downtime for maintenance for an entire day which is tentatively scheduled for Thursday the 13th of March, Chicago time (UTC/GMT -5 hours). The finalized date will be announced here on Monday, the 10th of March.
If any of our users have a good reason for wanting MG-RAST to be alive on this day, e.g. for a scheduled class or workshop, please contact us as soon as possible and we will try and accomodate your needs.
The downtime will begin at 9am on the selected day, and will continue till all work is completed, possibly 8-12 hours. During this time the MG-RAST website and API will not be functional, though previously submitted jobs will continue to be processed.
We thank you for your patience and understanding, and apologize for the interruption this may cause in your use of this service.
